Finalist for the Portrait Society of America International Competition 2024

My model for this painting is the inspiring Sarah Corson, who Susan and I met as a waitress at a local restaurant near us in King, North Carolina. The background of the painting is inspired by a small Byzantine Icon I photographed with my cellphone in Rome.
